Until 1980, the rent a car sector in Turkey showed a very stable profile. However, after this date the great improvements and investments in Turkish Tourism sector have reflected the same performance to the rent a car sector as well. This expansion stopped due to the Gulf War in 1991 and the relevant economic problems in the sector.
