- The credit card holder must be present in person at the time of rental.
- In addition to the rental fee, a certain amount of deposit based on the brand and model of the rental vehicle will be charged to the customer’s credit card. Therefore, please make sure that your card has sufficient limit (the sum of rental fee and deposit). At the end of the rental period, the deposit amount will be refunded to the same credit card after the deduction of any additional service fee, refueling costs, damages, traffic fines, etc. It may take three to five days for the deposit to be refunded to your credit card due to bank-related processes.
- You will earn a minimum of 500 Miles for every rental worldwide. Longer-term rentals are eligible to earn extra Miles: 1000 extra Miles for rentals of 3 to 6 days for a total of 1500 Miles, 2000 extra Miles for rentals of 7 to 9 days for a total of 2500 Miles, 3000 extra Miles for rentals of 10 or more days for a total of 4000 Miles.
- In order to be eligible to earn miles, the initial driver whose name is on the rental contract (“renter”) must submit their Miles&Smiles member number during the rental process.
- The promotion is valid for separate rentals only and not for consecutive rentals.
- It may take up to eight weeks for the Miles&Smiles Miles to be added to your account after the end of the rental period.
